Canvas access has been restored for our users, but the service reliability remains uncertain. Due to recent events, Canvas has had intermittent outages which are at the discretion of the vendor and may occur during a final exam. Faculty and staff may continue to use Canvas, but we strongly advise faculty and students to prepare a contingency plan for turning in assignments and final exams in the event Canvas access becomes unavailable again.

Integrating Implementation Science and Pragmatic Methods into Behavioral Medicine
Presentation by Dr. Russ Glasgow at Society of Behavioral Medicine in March 2026 discussing how Implementation Science integrates evidence-based practices into routine care by balancing core functions with context-specific adaptations. Using pragmatic methods and frameworks such as PRISM and RE-AIM, researchers should design for real-world impact early. This ensures interventions are relevant, feasible, and sustainable, accelerating research translation into improved population health.
Publication: Method to Engage Invested Partners to Co-create Feasible and Sustainable Approaches to Design and Implement
This paper by Dr. Mónica Pérez Jolles and colleagues describes a participatory engagement method to design and adapt cancer prevention and control tools (interventions) to promote whole-health and aligned workflows and strategies, focusing on health equity, termed Co-creation for health equity (CO-4 Health Equity). We illustrate this novel method with primary care (prevention) and oncology (treatment) case examples.
