Emily Vidal is a Research Services Professional researching shared decision-making with the Colorado Program for Patient-Centered Decisions. Emily’s research background includes coordinating and supporting clinical and medical device trials, working on studies ranging from orthopedic outcomes research to community health and computational biology.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Angelo State University and a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is currently pursuing her Certified Clinical Research Professional Certificate from the Society of Clinical Research Associates. Her research interests focus on patient-centered design, shared decision-making in clinical settings, health equity, and leveraging data-driven approaches to improve health care delivery.
