Sarah Tevis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery. She is Section Chief of Breast Surgical Oncology and Co-Director of the Diane O’Connor Thompson Breast Center. Her clinical practice is dedicated to the multidisciplinary care of breast disease including breast cancer, benign disease, and patients who are high risk for developing breast cancer. Her research interests include evaluating outcome measures that are important to patients, such as psychosocial and physical well-being. She is using what she learns about longitudinal changes in outcomes to develop novel interventions to improve shared decision making and quality of life for patients with breast cancer.
