Dr. Brewer is a health behavior scientist, qualitative and mixed methodologist, and community-engaged health services researcher. She directs the ACCORDS TEaM Core's Education Program and serves as a Qualitative and Mixed Methodologist in the ACCORDS Qualitative and Mixed Methods Core. Her work focuses on improving preventive health care delivery including disease prevention and management in pediatric and primary care settings and promoting refugees’ physical and mental health after resettlement. She engages patients and community to design, test and disseminate clinic- and community-based interventions and programs.
